USA – Rapper Wiz Khalifa has filed a lawsuit against his former manager Benjy Grinberg. The rapper accuses Grinberg of profiting from his wealth by self-dealing. Legal documents filed by the rapper claim he was “induced” into entering a “360 agreement” after signing with Rostrum records in 2004. Khalifa made the decision to drop his manager in 2014. Particulars of the deal stipulated that Rostrum with share the income Khalifa earned as songwriter including all merchandise related to tours. The lawsuit in question however claims that Khalifa’s former manager Grinberg failed to disclose alternate options that would have been more beneficial to the musician but chose a deal that was more beneficial to himself instead. has accused his former manager Benjy Grinberg of profiting at his expense by self-dealing.
The rapper now seeks damages of almost R16 million rand as well as the cost of attorney’s fees.
