GLENWOOD – Toddlers and school pupils were injured when their school taxi-bus collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Bulwer Road and Davenport Road just before 7 am this morning.
The children aged between 6 months and 13 years sustained minor to moderate injuries when their school transport vehicle and another vehicle collided. A total tally of nine people were injured, including an adult male who was treated by Rescue Care’s Advanced Life Support paramedics for serious injuries. All patients were stabilised as additional ambulance assistance arrived on the scene. The patients were then transported by Rescue Care to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
