TONGAAT – A motorcyclist was killed after slamming into the back of a truck on the N2 highway just after 9:30 am this morning.
The motorcycle was travelling north on the busy highway when the driver rear-ended the truck at a high speed. It is believed that the motorcycle burst into flames on impact, leaving the driver with fatal injuries. The motorcyclist, who was in his late 30’s, had been declared dead on the scene by another service when IPSS paramedics arrived.
Shattered fragments of the bike littered the N2 and the left hand lane was closed, just before the King Shaka off ramp due to the accident.
