Maritzburg United have signed centre-back Denwin Farmer from Super sport United on a four-year deal.
Farmer becomes the Team of Choice’s second signing this week having earlier announced the arrival of former Kaizer Chiefs attacking midfielder Keagan Buchanan who joined on a free transfer.
The 21-year old defender has been brought in to fill the void left by experienced Bevan Fransman who will be plying his trade with promoted Highlands Park following the expiry of his contract with Fadlu Davids’ side.
The Nedbank cup finalists will be looking to build from the success of the previous season where they finished fourth in the Premiership log and also lost to Free State Stars in the Nedbank Cup final at the Cape Town Stadium in May this year.
