UMBILO – A man was shot several times on the corner of Sydney Road and Franscois Road just before 10:30 am this morning.
The man (26) sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was rushed to a nearby facility to be stabalised. Rescue Care Paramedics worked with the Doctors and nurses before transferring the seriously injured man to a nearby hospital.
At this stage the exact events leading up to the shooting are unknown however Captain Pumzile Makaula of the Umbilo SAPS confirmed that Police are on the scene and will be investigating further. ” Police are on the scene investigating the shooting,” said Makaula.
