GLENWOOD – The Glenwood 1st XI hockey side played their final game of the season against a passionately motivated Grey College side.
It was a slow game, initially, and the first goal was scored late in the first half. In the second half, the game intensified as Grey College won a penalty corner, which they capitalised on with a great flick past Glenwood goalkeeper Cameron Goodwin. With just 7 minutes to go, Glenwood scored a goal with some exceptional direct hockey. While Grey College won another penalty corner two rebound saves by Cam Godwin gave Glenwood a 2-1 win.
The match marked the 20th victory for the the Glenwood boys who have had just five defeats this season.
