DURBAN – On Thursday, January 12, members of the Greenwood Park SAPS crime prevention unit, held searches at three different premises around areas which were suspected to be dealing with drugs. During the intensive search, SAPS members were led to recover huge amounts of dagga and fake cigarettes.
Due to the tenacity and efficiency of the members their positive efforts ensured the swift arrest of three suspects for dealing in drugs and one other person for being in possession of Dagga.
“We would like to send out a stern message to all drug dealers in the Greenwood Park area, that we are continuing with observations and intelligence driven operations until such as these until such time, that all illegal operations , are shut down”, said Greenwood Park SAPS Communications Officer W/o Leon Audh.
The Greenwood park Station Commander, Colonel M.I Mngadi also commended the members and thanked them for their support in the fight against crime.
