When what started out as a friendly braai in the backyard of a local store amongst a group of friends in Seatides, in Tongaat, turned into a comical combat, one of the the brave buddies decided to record the confrontation and put it up on social media. It has since gone viral and everyone wants to know warrapen (what happened) to Keegan, or more importantly, who is Keegan and what set it all off.
The friends are said to be Kegan Reddy, Keegan Govender, Sashen and Kavilen, who had meet that afternoon to have a braai at the back of Keegan’s parents’ store in Seatides. There was no telling what started the fight, and the friends have yet to reveal the actual reason, but people are ready to pay good money to find out ‘Warrapen to Keegan’.
Since then, the friends have become small-time local celebs in their own community, with a number of organisations being said to pay to hear ‘Warapen to Keegan’. What really happened though, the nation has yet to learn…
