Egypt veteran goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary has retired from international football.
At the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, El-Hadary set the record as he became the oldest player to ever feature at a world cup.
The 45-year-old, who won four Africa Cup of Nations, made his debut in 1996 and played 159 times for his country.
He played Egypt’s final group game in Russia, saving a penalty in his country’s 2-1 defeat by Saudi Arabia.
