Pick n Pay says that it will open its supermarkets an hour earlier every Wednesday for customers over 65 to shop safer, due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
According to retail executive Marketing at Pick n Pay, John Bradshaw said, “Stores will be open exclusively for customers over the age of 65 years from 07:00 am to 08:00 am. Customers will be handed a card at the entrance and will need to bring a valid ID to enter the store during this time.”
Bradshaw added, “A special shopping hour for pensioners was a great suggestion by the online community.”
