COMMUNITY: KZN beach closed temporarily
December 18, 2019 by Megazone Media

Officials have announced the beach in Scottburg has been closed temporarily due to the shark safety gear being out of order.

Mayor of the Umdoni local municipality, Thabani Dube says the weather and rough sea waves have dislodged shark nets protecting the beach. Swimming will be open to the public again once the shark nets have been reinstalled and safety is secured,

Beachgoers are advised to avoid swimming there until further notice.
