Food and Allied Workers Union and General Industries Workers Union of SA have joined an indefinite national strike caused by a planned mass retrenchment, factory closures and salary cuts at Clover.
The strike began earlier this week.
Workers have been forced to work with one truck assistant and compressed working hours with drastic salary cuts.
Clover employees say they are now uncertain about their future.
They are also disappointed about the turn-around in the company as many have been dedicated staffers.
