GAUTENG – Arnold Schwarzenegger who was recently on holiday in South Africa had a close encounter with a massive elephant that left him unnerved after the majestic beast got a bit too close for comfort. The Hollywood star posted an instagram video of the encounter that saw him precariously close to a Bull elephant as it charged its tusks into the front seat of the safari rover that the star had been riding in. A tour guide was heard shouting “No, no, no” as the elephant drew closer lowering its tusk into the vehicle. The star was in South Africa promoting his brand Arnold Sports and has been spotted sightseeing around the country.
“I’m absolutely in awe of these beautiful, strong animals, even though some of us had to change our pants after this,” Schwarzenegger said after the encounter.
He went on to state that hunters need to stop killing the elephants for their ivory and instead said people should only ‘take a photo, not a shot’
“Would you rather be able to experience these creatures or a hunk of ivory? I thought so,” he added
