DURBAN – After last night’s freak accident that claimed two lives in the same vicinity, another twenty eight people have sustained various injuries after the bus they were in left the N2 Freeway North Bound near the NPC Cement factory in Durban, this morning.
Just after 5am on Sunday Morning Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a bus had collided with two vehicles before leaving the freeway and going down the bank. A total of twenty eight people had sustained various injuries ranging from minor to moderate and were stabilised on the scene by various ambulances before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however the necessary authorities were on scene and will be investigating further.
