24 Pupils injured in another taxi crash

Twenty-four children have been injured after the taxi they were in left the roadway before crashing into a house at the corner of Holy Road and Umthini Fast Avenue in Cato Manor this morning.

Just after 06:30 this morning Rescue Care Paramedics were called to the scene. On their arrival they found that a single taxi transporting school children had left the road and crashed into a house. A total of twent- four school children had suffered various injuries. More ambulances were called to assist with the multiple casualty scene. Once all of the injured had been stabilised on scene they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
